Throbbers on Facebook

I joined a Backstreet boys fan club to make fun of a friend who was a member and I think I made a joke about the lead singer.

Few months later I got some Random russian girl giving me abuse about backstreet boys!

Here is the message she sent me:

Riiiiiiigggghhhtttt

She doesnt know what good music is obviously cos she listens to the backstreet boys, tell her to go play with her Barbie and Vladimir set ;):D

Why are people so odd?

Some girl I hardly knew at school added me as a "friend" a while ago. I foolishly accepted, but never exchanged messages or anything with her. In fact I don't even know why I accepted, just for the sake of it perhaps.

Had a clear out of clowns/people I don't really know, or even talk to anymore including said weirdo. Bear in mind I haven't even spoken a word to her since 1999 or care one iota about her pathetic life, she has sent me a message saying:

hiya chris howcomes you have deleted me off your friends list???

She's an idiot. Typical tracksuit wearing breeder with upteen sprogs and no bloke/prospects. I beleive she makes Greetings Cards to supplement her meagre income support life.

How sad do you have to be to ask why some bloke you never knew who now lives 220 miles away and hasn't spoken to you in god knows how many years has removed you as a friend?

Starting to think these social sites are nowt but freak magnets.

I'm on there because in the line of work that I do I'll spend short terms in places, make friends and move on. When this involves multiple countries it's hard to stay in touch as people are always chagning email addressess and phone numbers. Facebook is handy as it's quick an easy to get back in touch with them.

But situations like said weirdo above, and some people adding every application under the sun making their page take about 15 minutes to load and even longer to find anything usefull, and morons just adding people as their "friends" for the sake of it to increase their number of "friends" start to make me wonder if there's any point in it all.

Is she as sad as someone who posts about it on a forum ? :p

.

agreed.

Though maybe she had like 200 friends on facebook and you deleting her brought her down to 199....and that peed her off.

i deleted my entire acc on myspace and not one of my online "friends" noticed :( i cried for days after that.....

:D

You guys take these things far to seriously. Accepting someone as a 'friend' is harmless, and hardly means you're best mates with them. I think you need to get a grip to be honest

I accept the odd random friend request might have a banter with them now and again and then again most I never do. I don't ever take any kind of offence if I have a contact (because most are never going to be friends) delete me. I prune my list now and again and only really keep friends who I have known for years, in real life, ex school/uni/drinking ect ect. Some people really do take things too seriously though, but I just find that humourous. did no one ever explain to them the only constant serious thing about social networking is that it has no serious function at all.
