Changing torrent client – can I keep my torrents?

Hey guys,

I'm convinced that utorrent 1.76 is causing my otherwise 100% rock solid machine to constantly lockup/bsod/reboot…

When I leave it on overnight, in the morning I'm greeted by the Windows login screen! If I leave the machine idle or running virus scans etc, even 3 virtual os's at one stage, it's been fine

So, what I basically want to know is, is there any way I can export my torrents (ones I'm seeding btw) into a new client or at least the latest version of utorrent?

I'm sure updating your client (Utorrent) will not effect your torrents.

But I'm guessing utorrent will want me to uninstall the old version before I install the new one won't it?

You can freely upgrade and downgrade utorrent as you please without having to do anything except swap exe's (or use the updater). All your settings and everything remain.
