Newspaper Crosswords

What are the best newspapers for large general knowledge crosswords on Saturdays and Sundays ?

I usually do the Quick clues for the Times crossword on a Saturday and on Sunday I do the one at the back of the supplement in the Express.

Just wondering which ones you think are the best and if you would recommend any. I'm reluctant to buy a weekend paper just to find out that there aren't any good crosswords in it.

Unfortunately I'm not too good at Cryptic, will have to learn one day.

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a newspaper for the news, and just get a seperate book of crossword puzzles, if that's your thing. :confused:

I don't buy newspapers solely for the crosswords, if that's what you are getting at.

The daily mail usually has quite a good one IIRC.

Yeah, I figured it was going to happen so I may as well get it in first. My parents read the daily mail (I've disowned them and changed my name of course) and I'll concede that the crossword isn't bad.

Yeah, but he has a very good point. Just get the Times. I usually just do the quick one in the T2.

Killer Sudoko is for real men. The Thursday and Friday ones are solid.

Meh, I'm bored of sudoku these days. The super-fiendish ones are a challenge, but I've got better things to do than waste an hour or whatever on them.
