Another great OcUK police bashing thread !
As a former Special Constable I know just how busy the last weekend of the month is, the majority of people have just been paid. You have the usual raft of domestic assualts, random assaults in and around the pubs, drink drivers, RTC's, RTC's with drunk drivers etc.
The patrol was probably on it's way when it got diverted to a more serious incident, unfortuneate but the reality of a finite resource.
That's the origin of Income Tax. Tax in general in this country's been around since at least Roman times. You pay taxes because the crown needed money to fund fighting the Napoleonic wars.
They never got round to repealing tax collection, so you're still paying it.
We pay our taxes because we have no choice, taxation is legalised theft. Unfortunately some people are still working under the mistaken belief that letting the government take your money and decide how to spend it is the best way of getting things done, despite the huge amount of evidence to the contrary.
It's better than the american system where you have to pay for all your healthcare treatment and thousands of people die every year from cureable diseases....
There's no clubs in Kenilworth, which is the point I'm trying to make here.
Our local police station is open 9am - 5pm and closed on Sundays...the police force in this town are a complete joke.
I would understand if I lived in Leamington or Coventry where there is a booming nightlife, but at that time of morning in Kenilworth NOTHING is open...literally.
So what were KTPD up to then?!
...not to go TOO far off topic here, but as as american I can glady say YOU ARE WRONG...I pay £175 a month in N.I.....whereas back home, my sister and her husband pay $100 for their private health insurance which covers WAY more than the NHS here covers....here you have to buy your own glasses...pay for your own dentists....you're being blatently ripped off in this country for healthcare...Also, it's against the law in the states for a hospital to refuse to treat you...so even the poorest of the poor can get seen to.
Is it a decent headunit they've left?

Yes. That really requires police attention right enough. Aren't you a big boy?

And I second the first reply. This didn't require a police response, there wasn't even a crime committed that required the police.
Do you know ridiculous it would be if everyone called the police when they heard some shouting / saw some drunk people. By all means call the police if you think it's necessary but don't expect them to turn up straight away for stuff like that.
Drunk and Disorderly, drunk in charge of a vehicle.
Theres two.
Thats what the police are there for, stop defending people who are NOT doing their job.
And how do you now that there were not doing there, job, they may have been diverted to a more serious incident.
If your not happy with the Police, join up and do something about it.
No, I PAY for the police to do their job, if they did it right in the first place there wouldnt be this conversation.
I dont agree with the way they do their job i'll vote for someone who will make them do their job.
