Hi,
I been putting off buying an LCD monitor due to issues of dead pixels etc. Still using 2 x Mitsubishi 19" CRT monitors at the moment!!
How about this one as sold here:

Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Midnight Grey

Are there any worries what so ever about this one and is such a big screen still sharp when it is perched on the desk.
Any issues with stuck/dead pixels as this would really disappoint me.
Is it best to collect it or have it delivered??
All thoughts gratefully received.

Unfortunatly its still a bit of a lucky dip if you get a monitor with a dead pixel or not (or more than 1!!). I have 2 dell monitors and one has 0 dead pixels, the other has a stuck one (red).

I recently bought a 22" hyundai for my old PC and it has 2 or 3 dead pixels! However I dont notice them when using the monitor but its mainly for my parents and it wont affect them. Still annoying to this day they cant get it right!

Thank you for the link.
Do you have any other suggestions for other monitors with less worries or are the reviewers being too picky for the Dell?

Let's just say I got one before the Hazro and returned it the same day...LOL

i have this monitor, infact im on it as i type. it is excellent and you will not be disappointed the pip is great and all the inputs is a bonus, not to mention the quality and colors

Like mrk, I had the Dell for a day before deciding to give Hazro a try, despite the few snagging issues (sleep problem in vista, lack of HDCP) I'm over the moon.
