Oh yeah forgot about that, i wouldn't use it if you have a Nvidia chipset as it removes your LAN driver as well (something to do with it being named the same/similar), so id just use DriverCleaner pro still until thats fixed, which is supposed to be the latest version thats due. :)
 
No they aint shafted 8000 users.

I set it up the drop down boxes for 8000 series (defaults to 8800Ultra+ Vista32) and changed it to Vista64 and got them.


Im happy they finally added the CRT settings to Vista drivers (the parts I made BOLD).

Strange, i don't get that here, i just get :-

WHQL Certified driver for the following GPU's

* GeForce 8100/NVIDIA nForce 720a
 
Im well confused here, can someone put a direct link to them please, as i cant find them searching the UK site here, under the WHQL search i get the 174.74's for the 9 series under Vista, and the old 169.25's under XP for the 8's, and the Beta section switches it to the Amercian site, and only the 174.74's are found.

Yet the direct links posted in a thread on Guru take me to the 175.12's, but they only say this :-

EDIT: ahh just found them, when i switch the language to English UK. :p, but they just say the above, that they are only for the 9 series, but they do come up under 8800's search, wtf. :D

was baffling that, still no good to me being on XP, knew we wouldn't get a set released yet.:(

ive got a 9800gtx , the 174.74 install fine, the 175.12 32 bit version wont, says cant find any drivers that are compatible with your hardware, bizzare.
