Loving those Artful Dodger jeans and jackets, but damn they are expensive. Any other brands to look at that are similar but a bit more budget?

Does anyone know what these Artful Dodger jeans are called and where I can get them cheap?

Ive found quite a few Artful Dodger jeans on the 'bay for cheap (~£35). They look genuine and the companies selling them seem decent. Anyone know if they will be genuine and why they are so much cheaper? Also I love the designs, but ideally id like something a bit subtler. Are there any brands with similar flowery and swirly designs, but using them a bit more subtle?

Right, ive ordered a pair of the Artful Dodger St Peters Needle and Artful Dodger Eagle Star Jeans. Need to get some new trainers on Saturday as well. Will probably go with DC as ive had quite a few pairs now and they always last me ages and are really comfy. I could also do with a new belt. Anyone got any suggestions as to good belts to go wit hthe new Jeans? Ps.. Im not to keen on long 'skate' type belts.

What do the Artful Dodger jeans fit like? Even the ones off Ebay? I like the designs but I can't afford that much for jeans really. I prefer baggier jeans, but not hugely baggy.

And if you got them off Ebay, are they obviously fake, and what's the quality of them like?

ebay + too cheap to be true + doubting it enough to ask here = fake!

One pair turned up today (The Eagle Star ones). When I took them out the packaging I thought they were going to be huge on me, but they fit perfectly. They are baggy, but not too baggy at all. Should sit really nicely over trainers. They seem to be made really well. The denim is nice and thick and the stitching is nice. They could do with a wash though as they feel quite stiff at the moment, but a few washes should fix that.

Those belts are ok, but not quite what im after (not that im sure what im after). Any other suggestions?

I don't think they are you know. Looking at the logos, stitching, material etc, there really isn't anything to suggest that they are fakes. And even if they are im still more than happy with them as they are damn nice jeans for a good price.

Yeah the 'bay. Can't check the seller at the moment as im at work, but if you just search for "Artful Dodger" There are a couple of sellers with a decent range. One of them ships from HK (Which is where the St Peters Needle ones are coming from) and the other Ships from the UK.

DC's aren't trainers, they're slippers

Go for some Adidas Superstars or similar

Are the two I used. Each pair cost me about £50 inc p&p. The quality of the first pair (second pair is still in transit) is more than fine. From what I can see they are genuine. The materials are good quality, as is the workmanship, so for £50 im happy.

Adidas Superstars don't look too bad, i'll keep an eye out for some. Any other makes/models I should check out?

Do shop around though, you will be bale to find them cheaper.

I currently own 2 pairs of Nike Court Traditions, they're comfortable. Some Classic Air Mac's wouldn't go a miss either.

Those jeans would look great with a pair of Stan Smiths or a plain white or black Air Force 1's. Thats what I'm planning on doing when I get a pair.

If I can't find those exact ones, the other ones from the Lozan and Classic Los range are nice. Nah, the other pair of Artful Dodger Jeans should be somewhere between here and Hong Kong at the moment (I should just move to HK with the amount I buy from there).
