Champions League Semi Final *Spoilers* 29/30 April

Thommo is a fanatical Liverpool fan but i wouldn't quite say he's biased. Ive always thought he's over critical of us.

I'm quoting that as well & I am LOL'ing my cress of as well :p

Time to put the alcohol away me thinks :D

His comments certainly didn't help but should a player not already be up for a cl semi?

you'd hope so but some players just have huge ego's and love themselves, Drogba, you'd say Ronaldo, i think Adebayor can be a bit like it as well. they'll take it personally. whereas say it to someone like scholes or hyppia and it's water off a ducks back and they'll just give their all for the team anyway.

There is one thing screaming and shouting when we score or when goals go against us but when he's asked his views on our side, decisions ect he's usualy pretty honest.

Not that i have to explain anything to you but

a) Chelsea deserved it other the two legs

b) My grandad bless his soul was a massive chelsea fan so ive always had a soft spot for them as i was incredibly close to him and im just sad that he never got to see his beloved chelsea in a champs league final

c) SPurs./man utd are our biggest rivals imo not chelsea anyway

A) lol no they didn't.
B) Fair enough.
C) They are still a huge rival.

Such as? Like i said above, the only controversial subs made in the past he's never tried to cover his back.

He does complain about the treatment Torres takes but he wouldn't be the only manager to complain about that and atleast Benitez doesn't do it after games where the worst tackles by a mile was by one of his players ;)

i'm not going to get into a united v liverpool debate over this one with regards anything fergie has said as well, it's just something i noticed.

and i do reckon he has used injuries as an excuse after the fact with rotation particularly earlier in the season.

all managers have their mind games no point debating that it's just this season i've noticed benitez has taken on quite an aggressive tone to his. surely i'm not the only one to have noticed? it hardly bothers me, he is free to manage and deal with the media as he wants and i know fergies no angel i'm just commenting.

Arsenal and Liverpool fans all supporting Chelsea? Could that be because if they beat us you can rub the "Chelsea! Chelsea!" chant in our faces if United lose?

Too bad you have to rely on another team tbh.

I'd really have loved it to have been a Liverpool - Utd final, it would have finally given us a truly epic game on the biggest of stages.

As an attacking midfielder, he is.

Anyway, that's part one of my hopes sorted. Just need Chelsea to beat manyoo now.

.

Not really, I prefer to watch a game with a preference to who wins and I am fairly indifferent in relation to Chelsea so they will get my support

 Utd vs Liverpool? All i was saying is that all managers complain about over physical defenders.

I don't agree with the bit about using injuries as an excuse and i'll think you'll be hard pushed to find anything to back up what you've said.

I agree about him being more vocal though.

i wonder on the continent who would most fans want to win, obviously united are hardly loved in england but i'd guess a fair portion of non english supporters would be rooting for us.

Why was that Essien goal disallowed?

Seeing the Torres goal on the highlights he looked offside. I thought Benayoun had held onto the ball too long.

:D Not a chance.

Yes he is.

I'm gonna be rooting for Chelsea now, can't stand seeing Man U win the double.

There's still an outside chance Chelsea will win that too. Cross your fingers :)
