Samsung Series 5 LE40A559P4F 40" True HD Freeview LCD TV (as it is stated in the OcUK store) looks awesome. But it doesnt have any info on its response time. Now I'm basically looking to get this in the next few days.

But I wanna know, should I hold out and save for something bigger and better like the Dell 3008?

I dont know much about using LCD TVs and computer monitors but what are people's thoughts about using a 40" display for pc gaming, programming and graphic design? Will the Samsung hold up?

Hi there

Its a True HD Television so for PC use it will actually be very good as long as you don't want to sit right upto as 40" is big. The resolution is also ideal as long as you have reasonable graphics card like 8800 GT or faster....

A 30" DELL will be better for web browsing and do general work style stuff, but the 40" will be better for gaming, watching films etc.
