Can't access Barclays internet banking? or msn?

Sorry for creating a thread which probably doesn't affect many people...

I am having trouble reaching certain websites... MSN gives me an error 61000306 and Barclays online banking login part just doesn't come up, same with barclaycard. I tried reaching my ISP page to see if they had any issues and I can't load up eclipse.net's page, it won't do anything from clicking it in google or typing it in the address bar. I have pinged them from CMD and sometimes it works, sometimes it times out. No other computers can reach these in the house.

I have restarted the router (netgear DG834G.V4), changed it's channel and updated the firmware. I have speed tested and it says its fine, though quite clearly, downloads are affected and go down to 30kbps and then cut out sometimes, then go back to 8mb download.

I have virus scanned, I have changed firewall settings and pretty much tried everything and it's driving me insane!

WTF is going on?? can somebody check msn/banking for me? any ideas? Luckily my xbox live works... cause I just gotta play GTA!

I now can't access other websites like BBC.co.uk ...... and stuff seems to wait to load for a split second, then come through.... as if it's being authorised or something? everything I do stats wise says the internet is fine?

EDIT: bbc has just loaded after about 3 minutes... no loading icon in the meantime, just nothing, then everything?!
 
im having simlair problems this afternoon seems that virgin media dns is playing up again for me.
