hmm evertime i try to join a game, it just brings up some message that it cant connect :S

What exactly is it saying? This message will come up if the room is full.

Tried to play mp about 10 times same message. Other games are fine, was playing some cod 4 online earlier

any ideas?

If your NAT setting is open then I would say you are getting that message due to full games yes.

Does anyone know how to join an already packed lobbywithout doing it via an invite. If I start a ranked match occasionly I will join a lobby with ~10 people in but a lot of time it will just be me and me hosting?

Any one find usually the first 5+ games you join are packed, but after a while it keeps putting you in a lobby on your own making you host? Also every game where the host leaves it keeps putting me as the host! Im on a 10mb Virgin connection and my NAT is set to moderate as i cant change it without screwing up my router settings but all the games i host are lag free for everyone even though every other 360 game i host lags like hell!

I'm having a difficult time finding games - everytime I try to find a ranked game I'm taken to the lobby to create one myself. Anyone know how to join ranked games? How are you guys finding games and what are most people playing? (my NAT is open btw)

well I had one good race while my ping was low then my ping went up to over 1000 . Oh well, 66 seconds ahead in the race at least
