Lian Li Case Fan Choices

Noctuas are good, but Yate Loons are good and a lot cheaper. They can't quite match the brown Noctuas, but undervolt them and they're silent.

Sharkoon do some good fans too, the 80mm ones are among the best.

I'll pop in here and ask about good 140mm fans for my Lian Li rather than make a new thread. I'm going to get Noctua for the 120mm, but not sure on the best 140mm to get, any ideas?

Don't like yate loons have 2 se's and they both have started making ticking noises after about 6 months have to keep bunging oil in them have had no such problems with akasa or noctua fans. Will never buy yate loons ever again.

Are those of you with the Noctuas using the 800rpm or the 1200rpm version? The original link was to the 800rpm one but I'm concerned it just won't shift enough air for a case fan.

I use two noctua 1200rpm and to me on full pelt they are noisey (17dB 48CFM I think). However, bought two Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1200RPM (24dB 68.5CFM) and I prefer these (£7 each too, rather than £14!!!). I use all 4 fans on a fan controller and the noctua have to be turned down to minimum to make them silent, only need to have the scythe set to about 75% though :)
