Don't ever, EVER, get in the way of an Englishman's cuppa tea!

I find it quite scary these were the things government were concerned with given the circumstances. Oh how British.

I don't suppose the priorities have changed much these days.

hold the milk.

It depends, are you drinking Earl Grey or ordinary tea (Tetleys, PG Tips, Punjana or the like) for example? Ordinary tea tastes better with milk I find but Earl Grey shouldn't have any milk added, perhaps a slice of lemon though. And then there are those herbal flavoured waters which just confuse the issue further.

Death isn't as serious as a lack of tea, in fact I rather suspect that it could be cured with tea administered at the correct time. Tea cures all known ills - tea must be strong, splash of milk and no sugar is the correct way to do it.

This man speaketh the truth.

Being avoiding tea and coffee for a few weeks now. Its bloomin hard as well cos i like em lol. Trying to drink healthier is why so just orange juice or milk mainly for now. Water from the tap gives me bad headaches for some reason so i dont like to drink it from the tap.

Drinking tea is unhealthy ?
I thought one cup a day is healthy.

Like many things in excessive quantities it isn't particularly good for you, it is a source of caffeine (which can be addictive) and it is also a diuretic. I suppose it also depends on what you take in your tea how bad it is, if you have 3 sugars per cup say then it is obviously a lot less healthy.

Whats unhealthy about sugar for a nearly underweight guy like me that forgets to eat quite often :p ?
Sugar aint fat anyways and its less bad than a burger or whatever surely ?

I hardly drink any tea at all only when my mum makes me some sometimes one a week approx. 1 cup + 3-4 sugars + a few drops of lemon, mmm :).

Just because you are underweight or nearly so doesn't mean that excessive sugar will be good for you, it can still increase cholesterol amongst various other health related issues.

I doubt that 1 cup a week will make any difference at all but it was just the point that what you put into tea can also make it unhealthy.
