Um, it seems I may have "misplaced" a few wheel nut cover thingies while being quite enthusiastic today testing my traction control ;)

Can someone recommend somewhere I can get some from please? I lost 2 of them (at least I haven't noticed them missing until today) :( Also, after inspection, it seems that under those two covers, I have two different types of nut... one that looks reasonably standard hexagon type, and one that's kind of corrugated, which I assume is a proper locking nut .

I'm getting the car serviced in the next week or two so will get this all checked out but is it something I should worry about?

No, get some more from VW, they will be pence. In fact they may give you some more when they service it.

Cool, thanks - do you reckon I'll be able to con some central caps out of them too, seeing as somehow mine are scratched (how the hell do you do that?) :)

Always worth a try, my centercaps are bubbles, thing the previous owner had a thing for wheel acid!

Ah, that might be the Kossie-washes... hand wash places are ok but I'm pretty sure they spray quite corrosive/acidic solution on to your wheels.

Cheers :)
