which gfx card for around £145 , are any of the 8800gts 512's this price ? . i will be buying tomorrow (tuesday) , advise me on my fastest option . i plan to sell my gecube 3870 if crossfire is to much trouble compaired to the performance gains

i'll wait untill ati bring out their new grahpics cards, if they perform better than 8800 and 9800 series it'll be worth the wait

Does the extra performance of the GTS Extreme justify the extra cost? and which would go better with an E8400 on Abit IP35 Pro and 4gb of PC6400 ram?

well seeing as the 8800gt is not that much faster than what i have i would say yes :p , changing my mobo - cpu and os would cost more than a gfx card
