needs to be around 1 - 1.5mm in thickness and will bend a little with some heat, i guess it's the same sort of stuff you modders would use for window kits.

You mean 1-1.5mm in thickness not diameter surely?

Unless you want really thin circular rod :/

I used to get mine from a local plastics supplier, either take a peek in your yellow pages/thomson local, or ask at a school/college technology department.

cheapo picture frame.

polycarbonate is easier to work with than acrylic.

if you want to wrap it round your mouse, that isn't bending, it is extruding. might struggle with that.

ask on bit-tech.net

yeah i mean thickness, i'm without a car at the mo, so i'm push biking around, otherwise i would hit all the art and craft shops. so if anyone does no a major brand shop then that would be good, but yeah cheap pic frame could do it!

art & craft shop / model making shop (i.e. Antics) should stock sheets from a5 - a3 in various thickness from acetate thin to 5mm thick :)

You shouldnt be paying much more than a pound per a4 sheet :)

You will need a thermo plastic.

I made a home brew vac former and used all kinds of plastics on it. Acrylic does not work BTW, PVC does plus styrene sheet.

Easy to make, and you will get nice moldings from it.

Any local plastics supplier, or model shop will have the stuff you need.

Only way that would look good is if you made the entire mouse out of transparent plastic. The window looks godawful.
