With the amount of gadgets and capabilities that this thing has, it already costs £2,000... I'd imagine that adding in such things as Blu-Ray capabilities, HD connectors and a 1080p resolution would easily push this thing into even stupider price brackets.

That said, you can actually get the R2D2 webcam version without the projector for around £300 or so

It's the same unit as the projector, but only has the webcam (no Ipod dock, projector etc)
