I dont know if im ok to ask this here but anyway...

I am looking to get some clothing like Ralph Lauren/Lacoste imported from China and dont know of any trustworthy websites. I know of a few but they look really dodgy.

Does anyone know of any wholesalers or dropshippers they can give me the details of?

If so then please dont post in this thread to keep mods happy and email me at [email protected]

Cheers guys

That's because they are dodgy, the items are complete fakes. If you want to buy cheap clothes, just go to Primark/Burton/Uni Qlo and buy unbranded stuff. Don't buy a £2 poor quality polo shirt with a badly stitched little horse on the breast.

If you want the real stuff at a good price, fly to the USA. :)

I already had a contact in China but he no longer sells in bulk.

I had Ralph Lauren polos that he claimed were the real deal and the looked very smart and i sold them so fast it was untrue.

People like wearing Lacoste polo shirts at cheap prices... They may be fake ... I dont know but as long as the seller tells me they are genuine i and my customers are happy.

I have seen websites like www.nodus79.com and www.uptoptrade.com but dont know if to trust them.

What you're discussing is incredibly illegal. Buying a few items on holiday cheaply for yourself or for a couple of gifts is one thing: illegally profiting from someone else's brand and trademarks by running a business is an issue and this thread will be disappear very fast.

Key things to tell if shirts are real...

Buttons... buttons should be mother of pearl (i think that's what they're made of), no writing.
Shirt should also be quite a bit longer at the back than at the front (almost like a tail).

All the fakes i've seen tend to fail miserably in that respect. I felt a bit embarassed when my nan brought back a couple of fake polos as a present from Thailand the quality was really dodgy. I'd rather just have a plain polo without the logo if it's not real.

Im not saying i want to buy Illegal clothing. I am asking if anyone knows of any wholesalers distributors of the clothing.

As i said i believe all my items i get a 100% genuine because they look it, feel it and the person i buy off assures me they are.

Someone else bombarded my thread telling me they are illegal...

cant beat a good quality Ralph polo shirt, bit expensive but quality is awsome and they will last.

+1 for Burton. Most of their stuff is crap but I like some of the shirts and most of the jeans. Considering I only wear Shirt and jeans .... :P

My favourites are Blue Harbour from Marks and Spencers though. The quality is great and they are usualyl only 15 quid each. They LAST though. Same reason I buy shoes from Clarks. I've had a pair of privo for 2 years now and they still look brand new.

China, the Phillipines, Bolivia...

I'm sure all the factories are wholly reputable!

Point is, these were bought from RL New Bond Street, not from some Chinese wholesaler with a dodgy website.

If something is too good to be true, it probably is. ;)

Indeed. My comment was just an aside on the origin of all these fancy clothes. A £40 t-shirt that probably cost 40p to make.

They will be fake 100%, I used to buy branded whole sale clothes from China . . . . .
