I was just telling a friend that I didn't really like the game much, but the story and setting of the game could translate really well into a movie as long as they don't screw it up.

Doom was actually a relatively (relative to most game franchises) good film - it managed to be kitsch without being truly terrible. Taking it seriously would obviously be a mistake, but it stayed fairly true to it's roots.

Except that the managed to fabricate an almost 100% different storyline to the game...

A film about some guy running around looking for keys and ingredients to get past the locked door and stuck pathways ?

And whats gonna happen at the end? Cut short with poo ending

Id rather much have Bioshaft

Though the Futurama computer game episode was quite good
