High pitch whine when starting the pc up

Just built my pc all looks ok but when i turn it on there is a very high pitch whine but can't tell where it's coming from as so loud hurts ear when get close?

Nothing shown on monitor either and sometime changes frequency when going through bootup stage.

Any ideas?

I have

Abit IP35 pro board
6600 quad core processor
zalman 7500 cpu cooler
corsair 4gb ram
wd 500gb sata hard drive
antec sonata 3 case with earth something or other 500 watts psu.
BFG 8800gt 512mb graphics card

My guess is same as the above. 8800-series cards make quite a racket when they're underpowered.

Yes I got the same high pitched sound on first boot of my current build because I missed the power connector to the 8800 GTS. Almost craped my pants!
