NASA to Announce massive discovery

Just having a brief look at what that place does and for NASA to announce it my guess is that it has something to do with the big bang. So I think they may have found the first stars that where made from the big bang or where the big bang happened, something along those lines.

the only x-ray emitter that could conceivably be seen in our galaxy and that hasn't yet is a black hole as far as i know. - already covered neutron stars, cataclysmic variables, (binary) pulsars, magnetars etc

--however: extrasolar planets have been discovered orbiting pulsars, so it could be an earth size + earth distance 'Goldilocks' planet

Yup, the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy. Sweet! Hopefully they've got some nice pics of them throwing some probe into it or something ;)

Only if they've got decent photoshop skills.

Anyway, there's an inpenetratable barrier between us and the centre of the universe. It was on Star Trek.
