Can anyone come up with a slogan as famous as the "Spare the rod and spoil the child" one, but one that conveys the importance of parenting in society from a psychological perspective?

"Children should be seen and not hurt" was the cycling one.

How about "Obey your parents, study hard, and don't eat food that's cooked in lard".

Anyone know where that's from?

I think Maddox came out with a good one for his t-shirt, it shows a child cowering in a corner or something and the slogan reads along the lines of :

"If you're child isn't like this when you arrive home, you've failed at parenting"

Are you two for real? The saying is hundreds of years old! Just because you never heard it in your limited experience means it's not widespread? I dread to think about all the other stuff I thought was commonplace but mustn't be because you never heard of it. Holy cow.
