Johnny Vegas...not funny

Watching him on Jonathan Woss now and the man is just not funny.......why is he perceive as some great comedian? Is it because of that giant double chin?

I think its bit of an idiot that talks nonsense. Ive seen some people who can be idiots and also talk nonsense and still be funny, but johnny vegas is just not funny imo.

You do know that 'Jonny Vegas' is the comedy character. In the same way that Bill Murrays is the landlord.

Johnny Vegas is usually quite good value for things like Never Mind The Buzzcocks or Have I Got News For You but I've never watched him do standup. I suspect he works best when he has someone/other material to bounce off.

Now Johnny Vegas is funny, not all the time but live he's bloody hilarious! Just for the "state the obvious" record, the drunken Geordie act is all fake!

Not a good stand up, but such a funny comedy actor(films, tv), or whatever the correct words are

i thought he was funny on jonathon ross, personal preference though, That Ideal is good bb3 on monday i think.

Russell brand i just don't understand him at all, i really don't, The jokes he tries to do, are not actually jokes imo, i generally dont understand him.

Lee evans and Joe pasquale for me atm.

I think as a lone comedian he struggles, but in an comedic acting role he comes into his own: excellent in The Libertine alongside Depp.

I like Jonny Vegas and I think Ideal is superb. I found his interview with Ross ok but I have to admit he crossed the line by a couple of yards when he went back to the green room. He took it just a bit too far with Alan Sugar, especially with Sugars wife sat there. Not sure how much drink had to do with with it as he notoriously relies on booze at these kind of things.
