Anyone want to give me a room in Bournemouth?
Kind of left it too late with the whole house searching thing again, plus my mates are very fussy when it comes to finding somewhere to live.
I'm wondering if I should just go into uni and live with a random group of people who are searching for an extra housemate? Not sure if this is a good idea?
I've looked at two 2 bed flats in the last couple of days.
One is perfect, bit far from uni (15mins on bus) but it has two nice double rooms, big living room, nice kitchen, bathroom. In a really nice area too.
£320 a month per room, electric is on a pound meter, gas is billed, water is billed. (worked out it will all be covered in our loan, for a 9month basis).
The other house we looked at today is a 15min walk from the uni, but it's tiny, one room is a single, the other is a double, the kitchen is in the roof as is the double room, right next to each other. The single room is pretty tiny.
The weird thing is, it's more of a house share in this giant house, (probably costs a good £1mil+) and to get to our portion we have to walk through the owners front door, up their stars, onto the landing next to their bedrooms, and through a CURTAIN!! There isn't even a door.
£300 a month with all bills, 9 month basis. (broadband is £2 a week, and the old lady does our washing for £2 a load).
The girl I'm looking with wants somewhere cheap, close to uni, even if it's a bit weird.
I'm after something, which I'm not too bothered about on price, with a nice amount of space.
I might just ditch her and get a room in a house I like, regardless of whether I know the people living there or not.
What do you reckon? Got a room for me to live in?
