I have a video recording that has been worked on using windows movie maker and saved as a wmv file. Also have a collection of photos from the same trip that I would like to put on the same disk. So is it possible to have the video play on a dvd player and then have after the video all the photos on the disk?

Probably not.

If you used Premiere Elements though you could author a DVD video which was your film first, then drop in your pictures for however many seconds you want to display them.

Can't think of any particularly easy way though.

Surely you could import the WMV file into Movie Maker, then add your pictures as a slide show of some sort?

The dumb B**ch used windows pre installed movie maker and I couldn't for the life of me see a way of adding the jpeg files onto the end of the movie.

If you know a way please explain thx :D

I think Pro Show Gold will let you add video as well as your photos . In any case ,any video Editing package , I use Pinnacle , Sony Vegas ,Serif Movie Plus and a host of others that allow you to add photos onto the timeline aswell as video and it will encode it ready to put it on to DVD.
Mind you , not all video packages will work with wmv files .I think Movie Plus does though .What I've done in the past is create a movie with the pictures , so you would end up with 2 video files and use Sonic DVDit . This is a very good authoring program , lets you import most formats onto your page ,it then encodes and writes directly to disk .HTH
