taking the ps3 plug out-will it loose it settings?

Hi,
I'm going on holiday for a week. I wondering if I take the plug out-will the ps3 loose all it's settings?

Erm no, the information will be stored on the HDD.

No problem

It basically works the same way as a PC it will have a motherboard battery that keeps the important startup settings, the date and time etc..

Did you really think that you couldnt ever take the ps3 off the mains ever without it losing its settings?

Would be something of a pain if you wanted to move it!
