Really! I've had enough. 16 year old killed for no reason.

Normally when I hear of this kind of thing happening although I think it's terrible it doesn't affect me, this story struck a chord with me though as I have two brothers who are like best friends. When I heard the poor lad died in his brother's arms I imagined what it would feel like if I was in that situation, I'd be inconsolable and hearing about this makes me so angry.
My thoughts can only go out to his family who have to deal with this.

Am I being silly or would the brother and the two shop workers not have seen the guys face?

It would seem that the police know who did it, and have known since the incident occurred, which is why it mentions on the news articles that they have been searching premises. They also apparently recovered some clothing from a property that they believed the attacker was wearing.

I would imagine they wanted the witness so they could ensure a completely water tight case once they found the guy.

vigilantism will start soon in this country…too many people getting away with crap sentences for severe crimes and then recommitting when they get out...and people wont stand for it much longer

Pretty much what I said on my last post in this thread - I'm sure it will happen eventually, perhaps then the powers that be might see how ****** off the British public actually are?

This happened in the bakery where I go almost every day to get my lunch.

It's completely out of the blue really, the area is normally pretty calm, although there has been a few muggings and such, despite it being in Lewisham.

At school people were saying that the family know who it was and wanted to 'sort it themselves,' although that dosen't seem to corroborate with what the parents have said in the media.

even if the culprit is caught, they'll probably get put in a cell with a ps3 and tv for 5 (or maybe 10!) years then released "in case it breaks their human rights"

The man has a point, the country is listening to too many do-gooders..
I'm sure they wouldn't give a **** about the ****'s human rights if the victim was one of their family.

The way we treat criminals in this country angers me.

People who commit crimes like this, I just can't help feeling sometimes, should be taken aside and executed.

Who wants people like this in any way involved in society.
