In ten years I'll be 29 so I'm hoping to be in a well paid job in the sector I'm going into (I.T) and hope! to have my own place and getting ready to possibly start a family, at least I hope to before I'm 30ish. More than likely still living in the UK who knows!.

So life in general...

Where do you plan/hope to be in 10 years time, just a bit of fun post away. :D

Ill be 31, nearly 32. I plan to be with my current girlfriend, but married, and have stated or atleast planned to start a family. Would like to be living in or around Bath, but that depends upon work. Nice car, Dog, Cat, garden.

Would like to have done the things I wanted to do before I was 30, and be lookign forward to the future.

EDIT: Car will have to have been or be a Caterham 7 of some kind

In 10 years from now i plan to have a degree under my belt and to have been in the army for a few years, and hopefully picked up many more qualifications and skills along the way. As for a family life, thats not a priority for me, but who knows, in a few years it may.

I'll be 39 in 10 years :(

Hoping I'll have been promoted to CEO by then and be married with kids.

When I was 19 looking forward 10 years I had a lot of the hope and dreams as you guys. I have no idea where the past 10 years have gone, they've gone so fast it's unreal.

I thought I'd be all grown up by now but I don't feel any different than when I was 20.

Question is did you meet many of those dreams?, were they realistic?

Well... I think I've been fairly successful. Maybe not in the way I expected but so far it seems to be working out.

For work you can only plan so much. If you have common sense, solid qualifications and aren't afraid of putting in the effort then everything else should sort itself out.

With a bit of luck here....

I'll be 26, I'll prolly be here still where I am but planning to move to the US by then and looking for a job contract there.

I'll be close to knocking on the door to 40... I'd hope to be in a stable life, job, with a nice group of friends around me, and possibly not living in the UK anymore. Haven't got any specific dreams or goals to try and get to - just happy to get along with my life be as successful as I can be whilst remaining relatively stress free and just having a modest life.

Its a tough one, I was fairly confident that the 5 year plan was realistic, but 10 years is a long way off. Well I start in it consulting in September, within 5 years it would be nice to have experienced project management, but after that who knows. All depends on the economic climate I guess. As for non-work, I'll be almost 32 and likely living with a partner and possibly married in a 3/4 bedroom house. Car will be whatever executive saloon is at the time, and possibly a rusty ford focus st running silly power ;)

A lot of people wanting kids - that's quite nice to see :) I'm still very undecided on that. Then again it's hard to imagine kids until you feel you are a) in a stable relationship b) in a secure job (which I am in - but still undecided if this is a stepping stone or not) c) in a country/city/town you want to be in d) in a situation where you have a good support network around you (i.e. friends & family).
