Tomorrow MS will announce a new hardware peripheral.

It is rumoured that it will have motion capabilities much like the Wiimote and Sixaxis.

I'm not going to take a guess myself, I have no idea but if it means I can have some fun with friends and sell my Wii then I'm all for it. (I'm not saying the Wiis bad, I just don't use it)

So people, SPECULATE!

It's the new controller for Kameo.

I want it to be something that can detect where you are looking but it won't be that.

Tbh if it's a controller, I couldn't give a damn. I'm just not interested in another gimmicky device (360 wheel anyone?). I'd prefer if they came out with something that would benefit the 360 long term wise rather than short term.

And the Scene it buttons.

One of the announcements is going by the code name 'Lips'.

People are speculating that MS are finally going to implement their voice control stuff on the xbox and this could be it.

MS have talked about it before re. Halo Wars and they've put a great deal of time and money into it (re. Vista etc). If they pull it off it could be a major step forward for game control.

Ranbow Six had limited voice control, but I always felt like an idiot shouting GO GO GO! into the Mic.. I'd rather just use my controller that talk to my 360 :)

Would be quite cool in the dash board. "Play Pac Man Championship Edition" and it just starts. "Voice Chat, Nokkon", "Play such and such mp3" etc.

No it isnt, I had it in one of my cars once (an audi) and it just makes you look stupid in traffic jams.

Heck, at 34 having got used to standing in front of my TV with a fisher price guitar I'm now immune from feeling stupid :)

Yeah it isn't new, RS3 had it, the first SOCOM and all subsequent ones had it.

Although the dash control might be not bad. Although i would never use it, her indoors gives me strange looks when i just start talking because i am talking to someone on live anyway.
