Terrorism Alert

I can confirm that the OP is talking mince.

Or at least up until 12:30, because if the security level increased it wouldn't just be the hospitals.

It would be my work too, and my SRM (Senior Responsible Manager) has just confirmed ours is staying at Heightended.

They'll do anything to take your mind off of the economy!

:D

On noes..!! Bird Flu..!!

No one takes notice of these alerts anymore. Anyhow, we've got a magnificent apt government to protect us from the evil forces that threaten our very existence...

...... Quick, to the fuel pumps before oil reaches record prices, and we can't fill our cars up due to impending fuel protests......

Isn't that what 'true' terror in the UK is? Reading on the ‘none sensationalistic’ bbc about rising gas and oil prices..???

:p

What a load of nonsense the whole 'terrorism' thing is. It can't be terrorism unless it inspires terror, I'm more scared of being run over crossing the street to be perfectly honest with you.

So I made you all a forum macro.

Our Ambulance service has a board in main reception telling us what 'status' we're at.. it's been at Severe for months :p

I've just been told by my sister, who works in a London hospital, that all have been put on critical alert for a terrorist attack.

This is despite the Home office keeping the status as severe (one lower than critical).

This is not a joke, so I would recommend telling any loved ones to take extra precaution today.

Seems very weird.

I was wondering what I should take precaution with? Not visit hospitals? Punch the next suspicious looking person with a back pack in the face? Take my laptop and sit next to the fire exit?

Time for Labour to win back voter confidence through yet another story, whilst ruining peoples lives for the greater good.
