Possible to "rig" a tennis ball?

Inject it with water.

OR fill it full of match heads (non-safety) so that when hit, they all rub together and it explodes.

Do the second one.
 
Make some holes in it so that when hit the ball colapses and the air is pushed out rather than the ball flexing, re-shaping and the air compressing and uncompressing. Would be rather easy to do but also very easy to spot

I'm sure there is but isn't tennis a two player game so it affects everyone equally?

Perhaps you're all too fat and slow, that's it, yes.:D
 
Haha some good replies, cheers. Was thinking about putting holes in but I wasnt sure it would work.

Its not for tennis, its for rounders :p

The other team are known to be cheating so we're thinking of ways to exact revenge in the rematch tomorrow :D

Cheating at rounders? How low can you get. I can't think there is anything much you could do that wouldn't be detectable after the first hit or two although any of the suggestions might work for the initial strike.

I have tried this before ,spent absolutely ages cutting the ends off around 500 - 1000 matchsticks , and no explosion :( was more like a smoke bomb.
