My friend a neighbour is a surgeon and he was telling me that no one should ever use NHS direct as you can not make a proper diagnosis without seeing the patient.

This came about because I was telling him how NHS direct told me to take 2 paracetamol when in actual fact I needed emergency surgery to remove my appendix.

My view, is that if your not a doctor, don't try and see what the problem is yourself, I agree with 'Aero' seriously, just go to the doctors?

Na im not about to fall over lol. Its just curiosity getting the better of me so want a rummage at the forum i remember someone posting before, it was american based.
