Just popped down to uni, 10 minute walk, and when I was there, I spotted a police chopper in the sky, it hovered above my uni building, then I went in and was about 15minutes. When I came out, it was nearby but upon my walking back it 'followed' me, circling nearby the whole way, and descended to about the height of a 10 storey building up the road, at one point directly above my head. As I moved up the streets it moved up too, and then when I was in my house it circled my street from higher and eventually flew off - I went into the garden and watched it. Now it most likely wasn't following me but it wa pretty cool to see the chopper from that close. And it could have been that the guys inside knew me, as I know a good few police officers, and were having a bit of fun. But I was really interested as I love seeing that sort of thing. Hopefully won't have the police knocking on my door now lol - i haven't done anything wrong though so it's all good lol.

Further edit: Btw - I know they weren't following me but it was cool, must be something happening nearby.

Paranoia - if you listen carefully when you immediately pick up the phone, you can hear a small click.... that is a tape recorder listening to your conversation.
 
i swear i did have someone watching me and my family once before.

was just had got a new house down the road and was doing gardening on it, putting all the waste into the woods behind the house. All of a sudden this chopper appears and was circling our house for atleast 15 minutes we think it's odd but continue.

then when we go to tesco to get rid of a load of cardboard it disappears but then all of a sudden again it's at tesco circling above us, we start getting a little concerned thinking maybe they watching if we dumping the cardboard in the woods or something.

what then was even weirder was as tesco cardboard place was completely jam packed full we had to go to community center to get rid of the rest again it followed us the whole way then eventually disappearing after we drive off once emptying the car

was the weirdest thing, i'd love to know why it followed us, maybe it thought we was some criminals, or just someone out for fun figured freak out some people by following them all day.
 
Copper chopper is always up over Worthing at the weekends. The A27, a massive seafront and proximity to it's base at Shoreham aprobably help. It was a novelty at first but after 5 years it quickly gets boring.

It used to up quite a bit over the park near my old place and would then slowly sweep the nearby streets. I was having a smoke on the doorstep at around midnight one night and it swept in my direction before obviously spotting me and then coming & sitting right above my head for about 10 mins, only about 100 feet up. It could only have been me they were looking at. Mind you my front door was at the side so I probably looked like I was hiding. I kept expecting the plod to turn up at any minute.
 
I've had a problem with Choppers ever since BF2 came out, I've stopped jumping over hedges & taking cover now though.
 
I had that once, it was swindon v rovers playing that day though I reckon they thought I was in one of the firms or something. I was just looking for some riot police for a picture, found them and then got a rollocking for taking pictures.
I only wanted it for an album cover
