How many TVs do you have in your house

I'm amazed at the number of TV's some people have. It does make it look a little as though you can't bear to be away from it and don't have anything better to do than watch TV wherever you are. Just my view, 'sall.

I think it;s just people never throw them out till they break so just shove em in a different room when they upgrade.

of course not lol. whats wrong with watching a film in bed, or having a tv in a games room?

The only electrical item that should live in your bedroom on a permanent basis is an Alarm Clock. The bedroom is for sleep and sex and thus (in mine and quite a few others opinion) should be free of any electric fluff and have a nice bed with a good mattress (important - don't skimp here) and some nice furniture and be a relaxing environment.

We used to have a lot more but since my brothers and sister have moved out and dad has a TV card in his computer there only:

40" LCD in the living room,
32" LCD in my room
14" CRT in the kitchen
14" CRT in mum and dad's room which is never used.

I only really watch DVD's or play the Wii on my own TV don't even think i've ever had an arial in it!

In my current flat I have no TV, I do own a tiny TV back at my parents house but I don't think it has been turned on in about 3 years. The only things I ever really miss are sports and programmes like HIGNFY, sport I can watch down the pub and HIGNFY is on BBC iPlayer or I can go round to a mates.

Computers however: I own 4 fully working (2 desktops and 2 laptops) and about another 2 that could be built up fairly easily. I'll be cutting down relatively soon though I think as I should be moving to a smaller flat.

Electrical items (especially those with transformers) are known to affect sleep as the human body is quite sensitive to EMR

It was on radio 2 yesterday and Fenella Fudge agrees with me!

2x 40" Samsung 1080P LCD's
1x 42" Panasonic 720P Plasma
1x 27" 720P LCD
2x 22" Widescreen LCD's
2x 17" LCD's
1x 14" CRT

Computer wise.
3 Desktops
1 Server
3 Laptops

I have 4 TVs between 2 of us at home

I also have 2 in my office, one is always tuned to sky sports (it's used to record programs for teaches but sky+ does that) and the other a combination of News/Music which is also shown on a plasma in the student's common room.

In total I look after 1 plasma, 5 LCDs and 2 CRTs on a daily basis at work :)

We've only got one but when we move into our house we may get another one as the Wii, PS2 and 360 don't like each other and things have to get switched about when we want to play a game :(

I hate the thought of a tv in my bedroom too!

1x 32" CRT in the living room.

Nothing else, we don't see the point in having TVs all over the flat and even when we move to a 4 bed room house next year I can only see us getting a small portable for one of the spare rooms for anyone staying over.
