Hey all,

as some of you "may" be aware :p - I'm looking for an MG ZS at the minute. Now I've been hunting and I've looked at a couple but could always find something to put me off...

Now I've found this...

Description:

4 Doors, Manual, Saloon, Petrol, 61,000 miles, BLUE, MOT-07-2008. Adjustable seats, Adjustable steering column/wheel, Air conditioning, Computer, Driver airbag, Electric mirrors, Electric windows, Foglights, Head restraints, Folding rear seats, Lumbar support, Immobiliser, Passenger airbag, Remote locking, Radio/Cassette, Side airbags, Sports seats, ABS, Alloy wheels, Anti theft system, CD, Central locking, Colour coding - Body, Metallic paintwork, Power assisted steering, Full Service History.

£2,495

Now it looks like a bargain, very good condition as well. Providing it's got the FSH the belt's should have been done which is my main concern, there really isn't anything that puts me off the car...

It's 8 miles from the flat, and like I say I'm going to view it/test drive it Saturday middayish...

Can anyone look past my blind fanboyism and spot out something obvious to avoid this? :)

I know I'm making lots of threads but I want to be sure!!!

Many Thanks,
Phate

Atra, Saab, MG ZS ...Meastro. come on.. get something like a Civic R or and ST 24 or even a 6pot e36.

the Maestro ISN'T MINE!!!! I hate that bloody thing, I was going to drive it when I had sold the Saab whilst looking for an MG - but the Saab ain't sold yet and I've found this :p

Civic Type R - Nice, but I need torques
ST 24 - I'll never buy a Ford.
Bimmer - Na your ok thanks ;)

The dated 90's interior?

Don't give a toss about the interior :)

Looks quite decent if you ask me, seems cheap though, is that normal price for these?

About that price, yeah. Recently more have been aiming for £3k.

Often see things like this about various manufacturers. Which if you then turned out to have champagne taste and a penchant for Mercedes would be fair enough but to then buy a Rover 400...

Tom just asked me the exact same thing lol. My instructor had a 2005 Fiesta...the gearbox was crap, the engine was pants, in general just a horrible car.

A friend of mine, his Dad gets him a new car from Ford's every 6 months (due to his job he gets lots of new cars) and so far every single one of them has had to be returned with problems...

Kinda put me off Ford's unless it's a Mustang :)

106d perhaps?:p

ah yes, Tomnbk picked up on this, proclaming I have no idea what I'm talking about. It's a tool that does a job and costs my £1500 a year to insure on my first policy, I've not made posts about it or multiple threads of it's awsomeness. It ain't no 330d beater.

No you made a comment about my car being comparable to a shopping trolley or something yet I pointed out you drive a 50BHP 106. That's all dear :p

Go for it then. Seems cheap enough.

Well I say I don't give a toss, I mean I'll look after it but the fact that it was designed 2 decades ago doesn't bother me :)

Interior doesn't bother me either if I'm brutally honest but I drive a car with fisher price interior so you knew that anyway :p
