Why won't my TomTom let me do a full Postcode search?

No, the manual just tells you how to enter postcodes, it doesn't mention anything about the problems I'm having.

try right clicking on the file, properties, then set it to read-only?

Nevermind, finally cracked it.

I dropped the Postcode file into the folder on the backup on my computer, formatted the SD card in the TomTom, then did a restore. It seems that because the Postcode file was present in the restored backup, it somehow 'accepts' it without deleting it. Strange

Still, it's working now

Are you putting the postal file in \zip\ or \tomtom\zip\?
