There could be an exodus from Stamford Bridge - I guess it depends on the CL final too

Carvalho recently quoted as saying he might go, Drogba and Lampard maybe to Italy, Essien not sure either

Of course you never now whether its just paper talk putting it in their mouth's, but that team was definitely Maureen's in its core (doesnt it seem agessssssss ago that he left?)

apprently Boro and Newcastle are to battle it out for Arda Turan

Would love to see him in a boro shirt looks great and only 21 will be gutted it we get beaten to him by the skunks tho

What the fluff does that mean!?

But yeah more boring rumors for Liverpool :(

I wonder if we're ever going to escape the same old 3rd-4th position slump we've found ourselves in for the past god knows how many years.

I just fear that he'll be blinded by the bright lights of Middlesboro and join for the glamour rather than footballing reasons.

:p;)

Edit- His goalscoring record is class, about 1 in 3 is great for a winger, although in the Turkish league to be fair.

As much as i would be sorry to see Drogba and Lampard go, Essien is probably the best player in the chelsea squad atm. I hope the club do everything to keep him

Spurs have Gareth Bale, Gilberto, Modric, Malbranque and Lennon who can all play left midfield...

Yeah they can play there, but Bale/Gilberto are really fullbacks, and Malbranque and Lennon are righties. I don't really know about Modric to be fair.

I could understand them maybe bringing in a young striker to boost the squad depth and develop (Scott Sinclair, say), but not an older pricey one. Berbatov and Keane is a good partnership that personally I wouldn't be looking to break up.

Galatasaray want to wait till euro 2008 is over, hoping his price will go up, i dont rate him, think he will flop

No Bale and Gilberto aren't out and out full-backs, Gilberto is a left midfielder who can play left-back and Bale was outstanding for us on the left and I'm certain that's how his career will progress at WHL :)

Malbranque always plays there for us and Lennon switches sides all the time, though you're right he's mainly RM. Modric plays LM for his country I believe..?

I don't think Spurs want to break up one of the Prem's most formiddable partnerships... but I don't think they have any choice, I think Berba wants out :(

I can't see Lampard leaving any time soon.

As for Drogba, I really don't know, I am so bored about hearing he is going to be leaving every bloody season, I never know whether it is BS or not anymore.

Agreed.

I suspect our line up next season won't be too far away from this:

Hart
Hutton Woodgate Rocha Gilberto
Lennon Jenas Modric Bale
Eto'o Keane

Apparently, Levy is in Barca today to make a formal offer for Eto'o.

I honestly cannot comprehend why Eto'o would want to go to a UEFA cup mid table team, from Barcelona? Surely nearly all CL teams would want him.

If Berbatov is too good for you, Eto'o certainly is.

C'mon Fergie. He'd be an excellent addition to the United squad.

Please. Stop the Eto'o talk. He's never going to come to Spurs.

Even if he's saying that he wants to come to Spurs, it's just to flush out other bidders/get a better contract at Barca.

Eto'o joining Spurs is as likely as Shevchenko leaving Milan.
