Printing to HP 2800 Slow

Hi Folks

I am setting up a MacBook and a HP 2800 Businessjet A3 printer.

Text prints fine and fast, however when your print graphics it is painfully slow. I.E 30 minuets!

I have tried the latest HP drivers and have upgraded the printers RAM to 352MB however still painfully slow.

Any Ideas?

Just loooks like the HP 2800 on Macs is PAP. 'O Good!

What printers are you folks using?

Strange what about under a different OS? or the fact A3 graphic printing might take a while?

I am printing an image that is 8*6CM on A4 paper.

Not happy as I purchased the 2800 as it states Mac compatible. Well I suspose it is if you have 1/2 hr per page.

Works fine on a PC.

Time to get another printer, any recomendations?

What happens if you connect it to the PC and share it from there?

Far to much faff

Going to get another printer, fed up of wasting my time trying to get this to work. Will just use the 2800 on a PC.

Can anyone comment on the Epson Stylus Photo 1400?
