Yes, another GTAIV thread.

Reading around on the internet and theres a lot of chit chat about what the DLC is going to include peoples predictions, wish lists, etc..

What is YOUR downloadable content predictions? and wish-list! or what have you heard?

Mine would be:

1-More Vehicles, Including Pushbikes (So much fun in SA)
2-Another large city
3-More on Nikos Past, Maybe he goes back to the old country?
4-Definately more missions
5-More MP modes
6-More clothes, and enterable shops, buildings etc
7-New weapons- Including Flamethrower!
8-Parachute
9-Jet Fighter!

I'd be surprised if the Parachute didn't make an appearance.

I just want more variation in missions.
I got sick of:

  • Drive to Marker
  • Cut Scene
  • Go to Sub-Marker
  • Kill Target
  • Phone original Marker.

Every single mission in the game is like that bar having LJ shoot down a helicopter IIRC.
 
Not to be a party pooper but didn't we already discuss this in the official thread? :p

Out of those I think 1,4,5,6,7 and maybe 8 are possible. Stuff like clothes and vehicles I expect to be available to both consoles. the 360 content will most likely be missions imo, Im dreaming of a new area (either island, city whatever) but who knows.
 
i predict more of the same old ****

but my wish list would be things such as a lot more shops, interactive buildings, car modding added, jet pack & parachute!
 
I'l quite happily pay for one thing alone.

Trailers for the big trucks. Petrol tankers and long haul 18 wheelers. I love this game but thats the one thing that I really miss from San Andreas.
 
I predict Rockstar will cash in big time:D

50 million + what ever they make from the add ons:D
 
I think it will just be a mini-story set in the same city, possibly with a different character and maybe a couple of new additions in terms of items, places to go etc.
 
I'm predicting a return trip to San Andreas or Vice City, obviously not in their previous eras.
 
I doubt it'll include any new land, just new stuff to do on existing. Mainly revolving around a new mini-plot and i can also see the funfair playing a role.

...but GTA IV is set to completely redefine the idea with expansions that are to GTA IV what Vice City or San Andreas were GTA III. Yes, Rockstar is clearly hinting at new downloadable cities; and the chances of them being London, Vice City or SA again are slim to none. So that's new as in brand new. GTA IV's Liberty City is the beginning. Think about that and be excited.

I predict:

- More missions, nothing really new, but maybe 1 or 2 "cool" things that they can market (like they did with the whole 'looking people up on police computer thing')
- Couple of new weapons
- Couple of new vechiles

I want: (But I really do not expect)

- New map space (new islands, or new city)
- LOTS of new vehicles, including a place, parachute, bicycles
- LOTS of new fun weapons, like swords, flame-throwers, grenade launchers, remote bombs etc
- More coop missions
