Present ideas for my 20th birthday - Suggestions?

Hey,

It's my 20th birthday in the middle of June and i am starting to think of ideas. My Mum has suggested a ring, something symbolic as obviously i won't be a teenager anymore. I really like this idea actually but i thought i'd ask for other opinions.

Did you do something special for your 20th? A something gift/object as opposed to an experience? Or vice versa?

20 is a special age and i want something equally meaningful, maybe something a bit different.

Oooo, never thought of that! My wrists are quite slim so it would have to be a leather strap...luckily i prefer leather as i find it more comfortable. Any recommendations for something that isn't hugely expensive? At a guess £150 or so.

20 is a special age now? I'm twenty in one week and I haven't even thought about it! I thought 21 was the grand age?

I didnt get anything for my 20th (Well i did but not "special") for my 21st my mum gave me my grandfathers ring that he always wore (oldest grand child) still havent wore it....

Yeah, I didn't consider 20 a 'special' age, I was given a watch for my 18th and cash for my 21st. If you like the sound of a nice watch, save it for your 21st.

Idd. 20 isn't a special birthday, 18 and 21 are.
If however this is the way your going then i'd definatly go for a watch. i got given a neck-chai nfor my 18th, no idea where the hell it is...

I was under the impression 20 was "just another birthday". I only really consider 18, 21, 30 and 40 as the big ones.

You can argue that 16 is also something of a big deal, and also those like 50, 60 etc, but those ones would depress me when I get to them.
