OCUK Geforce 8800 GT

Be like all the rest as they are all the same, the only differences are warranty length, what software you get (like free game), and some are overclocked a bit, but you can do that yourself, absolute steal at £105, cracking card. :)

I've got one. Bought it on the 14 Nov 2007 when it was £160 !

I must say its a cracking card. Plays COD4 on my Dell 24" @ 1920 x 1200. Its not overclocked and the latest NV drivers have made it better.

Its a steal for £105.

Its a great card - cheap and cheerful and right on the heels of the 8800GTX... 1920x1200 is playable with it but you will get the odd dips below 60fps... i.e. COD4 on some of the maps where you have a view over a large area of the city at the start it drops to 42fps with 1920x1200 4x FSAA 16x AF but the rest of the time is doing 80-120fps.

just got mine, was a PNY jobbie really. works fine, will test at weekend.

I got mine two weeks ago and got the PNY one same as you.
I bought it to replace a 7800gtx and i am very happy with the massive performance increase.
Playing the Grid demo i am getting between 40-50fps with all details maxed out.
Its an amazing card for the money.

Just received my card, it's the PNY one. Just out of interest, is it worth overclocking it ? I've never really played about with overclocking gfx cards. If it is worth it, how is that done ? Also, i've read on another site that it's best to setup rivatuner because the fans are stuck at 29% and get very hot - is that correct ?

I have the PNY card and it is at 45 degrees at idle and it never goes above 60 degrees under load.
