A man who posted videos of his speeding, drug-taking and other offences on YouTube has been banned from boasting about his criminal activities on the internet.

Andrew Kellett, 23, was branded the city’s “dumbest criminal” by Leeds City Council after posting more than 80 videos showing himself and others committing a range of offences.

He is also banned from taking part in dangerous or anti-social driving on private land or public roads, which includes driving in excess of the speed limit, racing other vehicles on the public highway and failing to observe traffic regulations.

Presumbly, like the rest of us, he was already 'banned' from doing all of those things with the exception of the 'private land' bit. Or am I mistaken and we're all free to drive however we want until we get an ASBO telling us otherwise?

But you cant be given a custodial sentance for it, wheras he can for breaching the ASBO

Agreed, but the point being made was that the ASBO specifically bans him from "dangerous or anti-social driving"

Yes, he's dumb.

Almost as dumb as the system that had 80+ pieces of evidence and only doles out a piece of paper to say "You've been a very naughty boy...if you do it again you'll be in trouble".
