A whole 5 times in 90 minutes of play WOW

5 incidents where it got given to man u - im not even including free kicks/penalties that should have been given.

Only takes 1 of these incidents to stick the game in the bag - the most blatent penalty ive seen in my whole life

Gotta say David Pleat was on top form tonight...

I heard Didja Drugba (Drogba), Vin Der Sar (Van Der Sar) and Keole (Cole)...

The best though... and easily the best I've heard from him was calling Frank Lampard... Redknapp.

I mean honestly, it's like ITV couldn't afford the license fee from FIFA and UEFA to let him use real players names!

Well considering i did actually sit on the stairs for the whole of the penalties I can say that I am chuffed to bits with being Champions of Europe again. 1at half ours. 2nd half Chelsea. Pens a bloomin lottery.

Pentalties is no way to win the game or loose it for that matter. I'm happy we have won and I can't see any other way of settling games like this. Must say I genuinely feel for JT tonight. Utd fan by admision but Chelsea blue through and through. Shame for such a great player to miss his pen. Any other player I wouldn't give two ***** about. But JT lead by example throughout. More importantly why was that bald headed clown, Kenyon allowed to go up at all for a medal.

Final point which is a bit cheesy but well done both sets of fans on here and in Moscow for being well behaved and respectful

totally agreed and happy you can type so coherently, i can't think straight. 14 when ole grabbed winning goal for us last time and this time is soo much more special :D

Thats stretching it a bit

It's stretching it way more to say Chelsea was the better team, when they were not. At the end of the day, they lost. Terry screwed up when it mattered most, and Anelka couldn't remedy it, contrasted with Ronaldo unable to score and Van Der Sar actually making up for it. Little things like that matter in a mostly-even match like this, you know, the little things that cost Chelsea the cup and made Man U champions ;)

Then thats the only game of football you have watched in your life. Hardly a shout for a pen from any chelsea fan during the match on here and pretty much not even mentioned in summing up the game.

None of the incidents were mentioned - two bent commentators on ITV who are back room Man U fans

Not that i watched the game as the two teams playing are possibly the most despised teams of mine:p. But kinda glad that Chelsea didnt win it tbqh...not that im happy that Man Utd won it either.

Anyways congrats to Man Utd for doing the double..you had an easy ride to the finals tbqh:p. And Commiserations to Chelsea for showing once again that splashing all that cash doesnt and never will buy you any trophies:p:D

I really honestly didn't see a penalty shout for any side tonight at all

I generally thought it was a fabulous game, the referees generally did very well with fouls and such but were poor when it came to who the ball came off last for throws/corners (etc).

I was surprised that the referee kept his cards in his pockets for so long with some players constantly berating the referee. But in a way I suppose you must applaud him for trying to keep a free flowing game.
