Am Just wondering how much fuel you guys are going through a week....

I myself use about 45ltr a week which equals to about 185miles in my car...

I find it hard to belive you guys only burn about the same amount of fuel as i do...

(The island i live on is only about 5 miles long)

Would be handy if you posted what cars achieve these figures guys.

I'm spending £50.00/week at the mo in my Volvo s40 2.0D SE LUX..this gets me about 400 miles....70% motorway driving @ 85ish mph (gonna have to try a week of 70 mph I feel.)

Yeah, but we all know the coast road just begs to be used as a sprint stage. And you have the makshift drag stip at one point, and the hillclimb stage in town. What do you drive? Isnt there an island wide 40MPH limit?

When I was working, my Fez would do 250-300 miles on a £30 tank, and I was doing 90 miles a day to get to work, so filling up twice a week. so whats that, bout 50 litres a week?

Then it died, without a car for 2 months, and now my Mondeo has done about 20 miles since buying it and has a full tank :). I dont have a job or anythign atm so cant really create an average as its all sporadic driving.

i use about £45 in around 330 miles so about 40L at ~38mpg in a '98 1.4l Polo, thats commuting ~60 miles a day, stop start 1/2 the distance, over 70 the rest :)

That all depends how good i'm being on that week, my fuel consumption averages for the week can vary from 22mpg to 32mpg average.

i use about a full tank per week if i'm good so 55ltrs or £68.
