Ok so was clearing out my Grandads house (he died recently) and me and my Mum found 2 Western daily press newspapers, one is dated 1899 and another is dates 1910.
Are they likely to be worth anything, or if not are there people who collect them, and would like them (im not necessarily directing that at people on here) Id just hate to see them be thrown away.
I have no idea why these two in particular were kept, and dont want to go flicking through them in case I damage them. They are in brilliant condition though for their age.

They seem to have the classified ads kept in both parts, still havent the foggiest why theyve been kept. Wish he was here to ask :(

I guess most people would only keep them as personal mementoes like a persons birth date or marriage and the like...

ps3ud0

Do they have an unsolved crosswords at the back? might be a long standing noggin scratcher in there!

Not even a bit of ankle showing?

No pictures at all in either of them sorry!
The phone number for the Western Daily Press back then was just 549 as well.
I should sit here and read them properly sometime.
