When reading the forums you see lots of typos and apostrophe errors but if some writer continually makes mistakes should we as fellow users correct their mistakes.

Speaking as a language student of 12 years I like it when someone points out my mistakes. (Unless they are clear typos like ***!)

What's your thoughts. It's a pity you can't PM them instead. :(

I do occasionally point out mistakes in posts, but try to refrain from doing so due to the result of people bombarding you with 'Grammar Nazi' posts. :p

I hate threads like this :( I can understand people not wanting txt speach but why do we have to have ironic grammer nazi's prancing about all over the shot!

Sadly it's like fighting a losing battle.

Incidentally,

Nazis.

What is an ironic grammar nazi?

What does "prancing all over the shot" mean?

I'm doing a public service.

Nazis.

You anger me.

Edit: The irony was the mistake in the OP post. The prancing grammer Nazis are the people who seem to like editing the forum and not just have a normal running convo, which I believe is what forums were made for. Seems a bit sad to me...

It's very disturbing to see so many grammatical and spelling mistakes here. The most common ones are the most annoying - ect ect; its and it's; general misuse of apostrophes; death of capitalisation at the start of sentences; and just other bad stuff.

That's what I said :p

Not enough ninja.

Have you ever heard of question marks?

Edit: you're Belgian. I'll let you off, as your English is a lot better than the majority of English people, and certainly better than my French. :)
