Taking my laptop on holiday with me which has an 8400M GT DDR3 GPU, a T7250 2GHz CPU & 2GB Ram, what decent newish games would this play? Would it have the power to run San Andreas?

Thanks :)

why not read the system requirements on the box of san andreas?

Well captain obvious maybe I don’t have the box? Or the game. Looking at the requirements is in my eyes not good as it varies so much, user opinions or somebody who was in the same situation as me is much more valuable than reading the back of a box hench this thread.

Well with the x1250 (ATi integrated graphics) its a bit choppy at 1280x800 at all low settings. Dunno what that 8400M GT is like in comparison mind...

My XPS M1210 runs San Andreas fairly well with a 7400go - iirc an 8400M is a fair bit more powerfull, also your cpu is better. (mine is only a 1.6 coreduo)

i have a 8400M GS in my Samsung R70 its basically the same specs as yours. I can run Company Of Heroes, Source based games and tons more all fine with high settinging in source games and medium high in CoH.
