Received my new N82 today... frst impressions...

THEY HAVENT GOT IT IN STOCK ANYMORE!!!
I am seriously going to cry, someone help me, what do I do now, theyve offered me the

Someone help me! They said I could try and get it fixed in a shop, and I really dont want to be without this phone.

Why not take the N95 8GB? Camera isn't quite as good, but it's supposed to be the better phone all round. It's got 8GB storage (although no card slot), the same OS, same RAM (IIRC); but it's a slider rather than a normal phone. I'd be happy with either TBH.
 
Because I am sadly a slave to the phone I love :D

50 quid to get the screen replaced, will be done by Tuesday, at least I can get me phone back that way.

Just hope its only that now.

Not to bad, a new screen is around £25.00 - £30.00 what I seen from varous online spares re-tailors, could save £20.00 and do it yourself :o:p

I really wanted this phone but using around 17hr of talk time a month I had to stay with Vodafone :( Ah well - £15 a month for that isnt too bad for that and a free K850i (stop the clock is awesome) :)
 
tempted to get this on orange £25 deal means I pay £30 for phone but I can live with that.

This worth getting over the 85?
 
I have the Nokia N73 on Orange at moment and IF, I stay with orange and then Upgrade is this any faster / better than the N73 as the N73 is so slowwwwwwwwwwww seriously, ,,,,so slow unless you had/have one you wont know what I mean, takes ages to open Gallery, take a photo, no chance of taking a quick spontaneous photo thats for sure on the N73
 
My N82 is very quick, I find. Certainly as fast as some of the more 'basic' phones I've had - even running Web, Gallery etc at the same time.
 
My lovely phone is back!!!
I have covered it in kisses and told it how much mummy missed it! And told it never to do such a silly thing as break again.

I concur with this. Given what it has the N82 is a very quick little phone.

Having said that, I tried to crash it by opening everything and succeeded quite quickly - I think it only took 4 or 5 programs.

Amazing phone though. :D
 
What firmware are you guys running?

Not updated mine since it came out of the box. Cant class the phone as slow but im pretty sure its not as fast as the first day I had it and I havnt really installed anything on it.
