Don't waste your money on the 3M hook trick. I literally just moved the contact board 30 mins ago!!

I used a cheapy stick on hook which came off mid song. And it still moved!

Instead get yourself a T10 Torx Security bit (I can post one as a loan if you want?) and unscrew all 5 screws. Lift the neck slightly and move the contact board a half inch forward.

You can't get it wrong as the contact board sits behind a small plastic lip. Move it infront of that, pop the cover back on and screw the neck back together :)

ROCK SOLID!!!

Never missed a beat on a quickplay of Sweet Child Expert :) (shame my fingers freaked out though :()
 
At the moment I am learning to do Through Fire and Flames on normal and it's bloody giving my hands cramp, it's very long, it's also probably the most hardest song to play on the game
 
It is the hardest song in the game without a doubt. Its the reason you get the inhuman achievement for beating it on expert.....
 
So whose buying the aerosmith edition next month? I love the aerosmith DLC so I'm thinking about pre-ordering it.

Using quidco it's about £58 and considering the game is £37 i'm thinking £21 for another wireless guitar aint too bad?

The massive Iron Maiden fan in me says hell yes. But The Trooper and Number of The Beast were pretty difficult even for me :eek:

Other bands Id like to see:

Metallica (obviously)
Muse
Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin (dreaming though I think)


Id much prefer they did genre titles though, an all metal GH spin off would be good.
 
But there are some easy songs........

Imagine playing Alexander the Great or Rime of The Ancient Mariner!!!! OMFG!
 
Hiya

My Guitar Hero 3 Guitar neck is loose and some of the buttons dont always work. For example, I can be holding the red button down and on the screen it says im not. Is there any fixes for this apart from taking it back to the shop? Ha ive got blu tac on it at the moment but its not working! :p

And thats true hehe
 
I think they should hardwire it next time :)

Been playing Rock Band and i cant tell you enough how much better the GH3 Guitar feels. Also, that noise of the strum bar actually is a big help for me. The one on the Rock Band guitar is silent and i seem to play worse with it :p

Anyways, will let you know how i get on tomorrow.
