He lost it, and couldn't control it, no matter how hard he tried. It's not like you can suddenly stop after losing it.

Kimi could have realised he'd not be able to slow down as he was trying to catch the car. Should have gone off the racing line or leant on the barrier tbh. Shame it panned out like that :(

are you sure schumacher knew the rules? what with overtaking on parade laps, ignoring black flags etc

Doesn't mean a thing. He could have loved Ferrari road cars as a kid? I don't know. It was an idiotic comment either way. There's a lot of people who seem to think an F1 car can instantly stop, but he lost control and had no chance. Accident, nothing malicious, imo.

Did you see the crash?

He had a virtual tank slapper @ 180MPH - he had no chance to avoid Sutil as he couldnt scrub the speed off...
